Puka Shell Necklace
This is a Puka shell found here in Maui, Hawaii. Puka means “hole” in Hawaiian referring to the natural hole that occurs in the shell after being ocean tumbled. Pukas are the top most part of different varieties of cone shells. The top is extra thick and withstands the movement of the ocean far longer than the body of the shell leaving behind these detailed little beauties.
It is wire-wrapped in my signature, exclusive and, one-of-a-kind wire-wrap using Gold Fill wire.
