Washed Up On Maui

Zoe of Washed Up On Maui here.

The creation of my lifetime, born from the urge to bezel set what I had been finding while diving or beachcombing in Maui and the surrounding Hawaiian islands.

The wire wrap is the driving force of Washed Up On Maui. Exclusive to me and this shop, born from the desire to bezel set all my ocean finds, but with expensive start-up costs, high waste in the learning curve, and, toxic in-home studio set-ups came the innovation to wire wrap the pieces displaying each shell, sea glass, stone or pearl without distracting from its natural beauty but enhancing it in a simple setting that is One-Of-A-Kind. Handmade using wire as thin as a strand of hair to delicately encase each piece making it a wearable art form and memory you can keep close to your heart.

What started as an unintentional afternoon shelling and now has grown into this small business that fills me with such pride allowing me to explore my creativity, love of the island and expand my conservation efforts. It is only just beginning. I am honored to have the opportunity to better care for our home, share a piece of it with the world and continue collaborating with so many talented, local artists I have come to know and love. It has been an absolute honor.

Mahalo for your support it’s something for which I am eternally grateful.

From these beaches to your front door, Aloha and Mahalo.

*All shells and sea glass are found on the beaches of Maui or Hawaii. All sea glass is real, straight from the salty waters, and never tumbled.
No shells are ever taken with live creatures inside. All live animals that are found are immediately returned to the ocean in the safest manner possible.
